When we built Impactpool a decade ago, we didn’t know exactly what the future could look like. But we knew exactly which problems needed solving.
Our founding team had spent decades working in HR and recruitment in humanitarian aid and international development, facing the same challenges day in, day out. We saw:

In other words, we could see the urgent need for a bridge – a bridge to connect professionals seeking meaningful work with the organizations where they can make a real difference. Over time, that’s what we built.
Ten years of impact with Impactpool
In 2015 our initial offering focused on job matching and candidate outreach, to help organizations reach the candidates they so desperately needed.
In 2017, we built on this to include recruitment advice for candidates and the technology foundation for more efficient applicant tracking.
In 2020, we grew our capabilities again to include global virtual careers fairs and talent pooling, to help impact organizations become more proactive.
In 2024, we raised $4M in Series A funding and have grown our offerings to include tools for engagement, branding, and long-term talent management.
Today, ten years on, we’re celebrating a global community of over one million sector-specialist candidates and 3000+ organizations across 195 countries.
We partner with major UN organizations including UNICEF, UNHCR, and UNESCO, as well as international organizations such as OECD, the World Health Organization, and the Green Climate Fund, among thousands of others. We also work with select for-profit companies committed to positive impact, who undergo a rigorous screening process to ensure they’re truly impact-driven.
