IDB3220 - Events and Communication Officer (ICD) - Outsourced, Third-Party Contract
Role Purpose:
Collaborate with the THIQAH team to organize IsDB Group events including writing concept notes, managing speakers, drafting relevant documents (invitation letters, internal memos, reports etc.) to ensure smooth conduction of the event and efficient communication.
Key Functional Accountabilities and Activities:
Events and Communication Coordination:
Manage speakers for all the events.
Generate themes, concept notes and write up for the events to be used for marketing, event promotions, website and official invitation letters for guests, VIPs & Speakers.
Brief the moderators about the event and to manage the flow of the sessions as per the event objectives.
Assist the marketing team in preparing the post-show report for the event.
Support and help the marketing team with their promotional efforts by conducting interviews with speakers, getting quotes & preparing writeups.
Organize online and physical events throughout the year focussed on the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB Group) strategies and objectives.
Coordinate with speakers to promote the event through their channels to attract a wider audience for IsDB group events.
Promote IsDB Group events and establish new contacts to benefit the group.
Maintain track of the budget allocated for the event.
Keep a track of key industry trends and promote IsDB group events to attract attention from media and industry leaders.
Draft relevant documents (invitation letters, internal memos, reports etc.)
Ad hoc Responsibilities:
Provide support to the team and perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications/ Professional Experience:
At least At least 5 years of experience in Communications and Marketing role is a must.
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is often preferred
Professional certification in Marketing, Communications or any related professional qualification certification(s) are a plus.
