The Human Resources Department (HRD) is responsible for the development and implementation of AIIB’s human resource strategies, policies, and programs to attract, hire, develop, and retain talents. HRD also provides advice on human resources and corporate culture-related matters to ensure alignment of all relevant policies and actions. It also supports the realization of AIIB’s mission, vision, corporate culture, corporate strategy and business goals, specifically in the areas of strategic staffing, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, succession planning, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and recognition and rewards.
The Senior HR Officer, HR Project Management is crucial for coordinating high-level HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with the HR strategic roadmap. This role involves linking various projects such as those focused on culture, career paths, employer branding, and performance differentiation across different teams within the HR Department. The Senior HR Officer will ensure that all projects are aligned and deliver a unified message, while also monitoring progress and maintaining alignment with organizational objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with HR leadership to coordinate the development and execution of strategic plans that align with organizational goals. Facilitate the timely delivery of business objectives, ensuring they are met within established timelines, budgetary constraints, and available staffing resources.
• Ensure that work is progressing according to the HR strategic roadmap by coordinating with leaders within the department. Verify alignment with timelines and overall organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with HR team members to prepare comprehensive briefing documents, presentations, and reports that are required for meetings, conferences, and other official engagements involving the HR leadership.
• Plan, schedule, and facilitate internal meetings for the HR department, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are informed and prepared. Track and monitor action items arising from meetings to ensure timely completion and follow-through.
• Coordinate team-building activities, workshops, and training sessions to enhance team dynamics and promote effective communication and information sharing among staff.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and standards within the department to maintain high levels of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
• Assist in the planning and execution of change management initiatives within the HR department to ensure smooth transitions and effective implementation of new processes, technologies, or organizational changes.
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the office of the HR Director General, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows, communication, and coordination with other departments and stakeholders.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the DG HR to support the overall goals and objectives of the department.
Requirements:
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant work experience in human resources management or related fields, with experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and mediation.
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written), organizational and inter-personal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Familiarity with HR metrics and data analysis.
• Understanding of HR functions, best practices, and employment framework in the development, public or private sector.
• Master's degree or above in human resources, international law, organizational studies, psychology, or other relevant fields.
