UNICEF DNK organization mission TBD

Context

The Supply Division Learning & Development unit is a team in HR that focuses on delivering results, while supporting each other and growing together. We are looking for a colleague who can contribute to the results and the growth of the team so that we ensure our interventions continue to support the strategic priorities of the UNICEF Supply Function.

Task description

The overall task will be to drive and improve existing interventions as well as to develop new as needed. The team is responsible for interventions that range from live trainings, over on-demand and technical content to career development opportunities such as mentoring and coaching, and we service colleagues globally and to a certain extend partners.

We also collaborate with other parts of the organization to ensure interventions that match the challenges and needs that have been identified as they may not always fall within Learning & Development.

Your overall task would be to understand organizational needs and challenges and design, development and improve relevant interventions.

More concretely, you will:
• Engage with different types of stakeholders and use data to analyze and prioritize challenges and needs within areas of strategic importance to the UNICEF Supply Function.
• Design, develop and implement different types of interventions to address the identified challenges in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Supply Function, other parts of UNICEF, and partners to ensure synergies and mutual support for relevant interventions.
• Ensure that strategies and methods for impact measurement and continuous improvement are a part of the interventions as needed.
• Support the coordination of relevant live trainings as needed.
• Support the Learning & Development unit by sharing your knowledge and using your skills to help on other projects and tasks.

Results and expected outputs:
• Design, development, delivery, evaluation, and improvement of interventions as defined by the organizational needs.
• Interventions that are inclusive and accessible.
• Positive contribution to ensure a great team.
