Supervisor: The incumbent is reporting to the Project Officer. Supervisee: The incumbent supervises the protection social workers.
Responsibilities
In accordance with established Agency policy and procedures the incumbent: A. Provides technical support and supervision for staff under his supervision; offers the CIU Project Officer (PO) technical support in managing the unit; B. Monitors and enhances services, particularly case management services and referrals; ensures staff are property using assessment forms and other required forms; monitors quality of services and data collected; carries out regular visits to monitor the project staff and activities as needed and according to RSSP guidelines. C. Supports the PO in developing action plans, budgets, proposals, reports and other documents; Provides daily and regular reports to the PO on incidents, assessments and response. D. Supervises and manages financial payments to beneficiaries; reviews payment requests and offers his/her recommendation from a technical perspective to the Project officer; follows up the issuing and delivery of approved payments and other types of assistance. E. Organizes and leads community assessments and Focus groups, monitors implementation. F. provides related reports and recommendations to the Project Officer; follows up implementation of approved community-level activities and preventative activities; recommends, executes, follows up and monitors feedback mechanisms. G. Responsible for planning, facilitating, and offering technical capacity development trainings with a clear needs assessment and focus on outcomes; H. Follows up and maintains productive working relationships and communication channels with project stakeholders and team members at the areas' level to ensure the smooth implementation, cooperation and support of the project in the local community; leads coordination and follow up with affected communities and other stakeholders, under the supervision of the direct supervisor, to ensure efficient implementation of the project's activities. I. Coordinates work with Protection and Neutrally Department in terms of determining affected communities, recommending priorities, referrals, organizing field visits and other day to day issues. J. Provides support to the Programme Support Office and Protection and Neutrality Department in creating communication and visibility materials. K. Performs such other duties as may be assigned.

Work Experience
Five years' experience in implementing humanitarian/ emergency response, out of which two years of experience in case management and cash-based programming is required.
