Priority Tasks and Responsibility
Mobilization of participant
- Lead the creation of innovation strategies to effective engage potential participants and market the project.
- Implement innovative strategies to mobilize potential participants to enroll in to the project.
- Ensure ‘public awareness’ about YEET Project activities through strong communication with potential beneficiaries.
- Communicate with beneficiaries on their admission in to project.
Improvement of YEET visibility
- Oversee and guide the development of (annual) communication plans linked to project plan.
- Develop and disseminate public relations materials that increase YEET Project visibility among stakeholders and target group.
- Assist in designing and implementing communication mechanisms, approaches and systems to effectively engage local stakeholders.
- Ensure that an efficient and smooth communication network exists at project location and between local stakeholders.
Event Management
- Make sure event are properly planned, coordinated, and documented
- Takes and edits pictures of events, vocational training, and other significant project activities including establishing a picture gallery for the project.
- Facilitating different ceremonies/events in the project location and preparing banners and other branding materials for occasions within the project location.
Documentation and Production of stories
- Produce monthly, quarterly, semester and annual audio, visual and written updates to management and donors.
- Assist in the responding to content (human touch stories, interviews, pictures, videos) request of donors and others stakeholders
- Support project in any ‘public relation’ activity and will make that the documentation of such and other issues are properly kept in save & proper way.
- Handle additional responsibilities given to him by his immediate supervisor.

JOB SPECIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree In Mass Communications, Public relations, Broadcasting or in any other relevant communications qualifications with at least two (2) years’ work experience in the communications field.
Honours’s degree will be an added advantage.
