Overview
The incumbent will work under the Regional Supervisor to accomplish the CNHA project program objectives maintaining Jhpiego's global standards. S/he will provide overall program support in the field to implement the field-level activities as well as national-level dissemination and closeout meetings of the CNHA project.

Responsibilities
- Assist in conceptualizing, and providing leadership and strategic direction for MNH&FP services at district, Upazila, Union and Community Level.
- Provide technical leadership to the district levels and below to ensure improved coverage and quality of MNH&FP services including referral.
- Coordinate and support partners and stakeholders in the implementation of MNH&FP services in the focus district of CNHA.
- Provide mentorship on provision of counseling and referral of clients to and from the community to districts.
- Provides instruction to pregnant mothers, newborn, children and family members on different health issues in collaboration with mentee clinician,
- Represents program at district level stakeholder meetings and technical working groups in relation to MNH&FP technical areas
- Maintain strong liaison with Core team of district and Upazila level to implement, monitor and report on all project activities,
- Supports and provide technical inputs for the implementation of all project activities to timely achieve project deliverables and outcomes,
- Meets regularly with district government counterparts, especially MoH officials at the district level for effective project management and respond in a timely manner to requests for meetings, reports, etc.
- Works with the Regional MNH&FP Supervisor and the program team to plan work-plan budgets, develop activity budgets, review expenditure, and ensure efficient use of available resources.
- Establishes systems for tracking progress, indicators and deliverables according to agreed work-plans and prepare program reports to ensure that state, donor and headquarter reporting needs are met,
- Facilitates trainings, workshops and provide on-site technical support during visits as needed, as part of a broad strategy of program strengthening including preparing training schedules, identifying trainers, monitoring trainings and post-training supportive supervision follow-up visits.
- Works closely with the whole CNHA team on programmatic linkage on setting program priorities and responding to requests for technical support from local counterparts,
- Travels within the assigned districts of responsibility to support project activities,
- Keeps the concerned program staff/ supervisor informed of successes, challenges and lessons learned.
- Monthly facility visit schedule to be discussed, reviewed, and coordinated, as pertaining to facility needs, with Regional MNH&FP Supervisor on a monthly basis.
- Organize mentoring visits based on the identified needs of the mentees in each health facility
- Submit monthly and quarterly reports to Regional MNH&FP Supervisor as per stipulated timeline
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in social science or another related subject
- Bachelor / diploma degree in nursing or paramedic will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in public health and family planning field or any other relevant field
