Tentative start date: 03/02/2025, contract of 11 months with a probationary period of 6 months.

Salary Category IV - Gross monthly: 3,920.72.

Job Description

The Operations Officer / Training - interim support will be working in the Cluster1 AdminTeam and coordinate training activities in the EUAA country operations. 

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the planning and organisation of trainings, including scheduling, training venues organisation, training equipment and deployment of trainers
  • Facilitate training sessions within the framework of the EUAA
  • Operating Plans on yearly basis and other operational trainings as needed
  • Take care of the administrative activities of the team (e.g. reimbursements, purchase orders, payments, budget monitoring,) and process financial transactions, making sure all financial processes are managed in line with EUAA financial rules and sound financial management
  • Assist in the development of training material in line with training activities and gathering relevant information and ensuring trainings compliance with the legal regulations, contracts and standards
  • Ensure effective communication flow between central office and teams/stakeholders in different locations
  • Liaising with the Training Unit on activities linked to the organisation of assigned trainings, as needed
  • Gather and consolidate feedback on the training activities carried out in order to identify issues and/or make recommendations
  • Providing assistance in the evaluation of training to optimize training effectiveness and training costs
  • Provide regular analytical and statistical reports on the functioning of the activities and related challenges

Minimum requirements

  • A completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma, preferably in the field of political science, humanitarian studies, international studies, social studies or psychology;
  • Previous field experience in asylum and/or reception for at least 3 years;
  • Mobility and flexibility to go for potential numerous missions outside of the place of employment;
  • Thorough Knowledge of English (level C1 in all dimensions as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or CEFRL).
  • Computer literacy, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel), use of internet and web- based applications.

Advantageous

  • Post-graduate degree in the field of law, field of political science, humanitarian studies, international studies, social studies, psychology
  • Proficiency in other EU languages
  • Previous experience in delivering training sessions, including virtual/remote trainings
  • Completed training in any of the EUAA modules or equivalent asylum/reception -related trainings
  • Completed didactic training
