Tentative start date: 03/02/2025, contract of 11 months with a probationary period of 6 months.
Salary Category IV - Gross monthly: 3,920.72 Euros.

Job Description
The Operations Officer / Finance - interim support will be working in the Cluster1 AdminTeam and coordinate financial activities in the EUAA country operations.
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of the assigned budget, including contribution for the work programme document(s) and relevant supporting documents.
- Prepare and process financial transactions, and make sure all financial processes are managed in line with EUAA financial rules and sound financial management.
- Manage correspondence in the area of activity and ensure effective communication flow between central office, teams and stakeholders within the Agency for the preparation, revision and implementation of budget.
- Support monitoring, controlling and reporting on the budget implementation on a regular basis.
- Support in opening/closing of annual budget (including the end of year exercise) and assisting in preparation of the related documentations and reports.
- Draft and prepare notes, statistical or analytical reports as requested.
- Draft or review existing manuals, internal rules, guidelines and templates for forecasting, preparation and implementation of the Agency’s budget.
- Support Project and/or contract management cycle in the area of activities.
- Contribute to the development of workflows and/or reporting tools aimed at improving financial management activities and ensuring the quality of high-value data for accuracy, consistency and comparability.
- Perform any other duties in the interest of the service.
Minimum requirements
- A completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma;
- At least three years of relevant work experience in line with the main tasks described above;
- Proven professional experience in drafting templates, financial reports;
- Meet the character requirements for the duties involved;
- Thorough Knowledge of English (level C1 in all dimensions as per the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or CEFRL);
- Computer literacy, including MS Office Suite, use of internet and web-based applications;
Advantageous
- University degree in Finance
- Advanced skills in Excel, as well as knowledge and experience in budget planning and monitoring tools will be an advantage.
- Experience and knowledge of projects/programmes development, management and implementation, with a particular focus on budget management shall be an advantage.
- Previous experience working in an EU body or knowledge of the
- EU financial procedures and workflows shall be an advantage.
- Proficiency in other European languages.
