Jhpiego is hiring for Assistant Manager - HR based at New Delhi.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and people-related matters.
- Implement HR initiatives to ensure a consistent and supportive work environment.
- Collaborate with State Focal Points and Program Directors to manage onboarding and orientation processes for new hires.
- Oversee HR dashboards, reports, and presentations, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
- Facilitate the creation and monitoring of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure high-quality and consistent HR service delivery.
- Coordinate the annual staff performance appraisal process.Guide managers on performance management, career development, and addressing workplace issues or grievances.
- Build a robust employee network to gauge the pulse of the organization and foster a positive work culture.
- Design and execute employee engagement frameworks, including Rewards & Recognition, Leadership Connects, and retention programs.

Support the HR Director with:
- Data analysis to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions.
- Partnering with managers to address people-related issues like performance management, policy adherence, and employee development.
- Design and execute the employee engagement framework, which includes regular employee interactions, Rewards & Recognition, Leadership Connects, Retention Programs etc.
- Manage internal communication, administration of various new initiatives.
- Ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and practices. Ensure that employee relations issues are properly identified/reported and thoroughly investigated/resolved.
- Ensure end-to-end compliance with the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) Act, including regular training, quarterly meetings, and submission of annual reports.
- Manage the administrative and coordination aspects of learning and development activities.
- Any other task assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
Abilities/Skills:

- Good written and oral communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Office with special emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a multicultural work environment
Qualifications:
- Masters in HR/Social Work from a reputed institution with at least 8 -10 years of experience in HR in the relevant areas.
- Familiarity with the development sector will be preferred.
- Experience of working in staff development, capacity building, staff engagement is a must.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to work across diverse teams.
