JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Fundraising and Partnerships Officer (FPO) will play a pivotal role in advancing Devodhya Foundation's mission by securing funding and building strategic partnerships. The FPO will report directly to the President/CEO and will be responsible for the following:

  1. Fundraising Initiatives:

    • Develop and expand the donor portfolio, focusing on mid-level donors, corporate entities, and family foundations.
    • Conduct research on funding opportunities, including CSR partnerships and FCRA-compliant grants.
    • Prepare compelling proposals and grant applications to secure multi-year, high-value funding.
  2. Strategic Partnerships:

    • Cultivate partnerships with like-minded organizations, corporates, and public sector undertakings.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for impactful collaborations.
  3. Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with India CSR laws and FCRA regulations, including reporting requirements.
    • Coordinate with the finance team to prepare donor narratives, fund utilization reports, and impact assessments.
  4. Event Management and Engagement:

    • Plan and organize donor visits, fundraising events, and partner campaigns.
    • Design and execute stakeholder engagement initiatives to enhance relationships with leadership teams and employees of partner organizations.
  5. Overseas Fundraising:

    • Explore opportunities for international fundraising and ensure adherence to FCRA guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a reputed institution.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of demonstrable success in business development or fundraising, preferably in the non-profit sector.

Skills and Competencies:

  1. Strong strategic and analytical skills.
  2. In-depth knowledge of CSR laws, FCRA regulations, and compliance processes.
  3. Excellent networking and interpersonal abilities.
  4. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  6. Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail-oriented reporting and documentation.

COMPENSATION OFFERED:

  • Competitive compensation aligned with industry standards, ranging between ₹9–10 LPA, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
