Web Site Manager – KivuHub Technology (Bukavu, Goma, DRC)

 

1. Introduction

KivuHub Technology SARL is looking for a talented and motivated Website Manager to join its online team. This position will play a key role in managing and maintaining the KivuHub website ( https://kivuhub.net/ ), contributing to the promotion of its activities and initiatives.

2. About KivuHub Technology

KivuHub Technology SARL is a non-profit organization that aims to empower women, startups and the local community by providing targeted training in digital, employment, technology and entrepreneurial skills. By encouraging the development of e-recycling skills, we support local environmental organizations and contribute to a more sustainable future. Our work aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, promoting gender equality, youth employment and universal access to ICT, thus creating a positive social and environmental impact.

3. Job description

The Website Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the KivuHub website, including:

  • Content Management : Regularly updating website content with accurate and relevant information, including creating new pages and modifying existing pages.
  • Technical maintenance : Ensuring the proper functioning of the website by performing regular backups, monitoring performance and resolving minor technical issues.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) : Implementing strategies to improve the website's ranking in search results.
  • Graphic Design : Create attractive graphic elements for the website, such as banners, images and infographics.
  • Social Media Management : Contribute to the management of KivuHub’s social media platforms.
  • Google AdSense : Manage and optimize Google AdSense advertising campaigns on the website.
  • Reporting : Provide monthly reports on website performance and traffic analytics.

4. Qualifications and experience required

  • At least 2 years of experience in website management, preferably with WordPress.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience in graphic design (a plus).
  • Good understanding of how Google AdSense works.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong motivation and interest in remote work.
