ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
This position is based in Cox's Bazar and reports to HR Officer- L&D.
THE ROLE
To deliver a full range of HR support services to ensure accurate implementation of WFP policies and procedures and facilitate the effective functioning of a client-focused and strategy-oriented HR services.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive, nor exhaustive):
HR Service Delivery:
- Assist with a wide range of complex HR queries, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and timely HR service delivery to clients.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and systems to support effective problem-solving and decision-making.
Performance Management:
- Lead and support the Performance and Capability Enhancement (PACE) process.
- Conduct training and awareness sessions to emphasize the importance of performance management, ensuring quality objective setting, and timely completion of appraisals.
- Monitor and report on the completion rates and quality of PACE submissions, providing recommendations for improvement.
Onboarding and Orientation:
- Coordinate and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new staff, ensuring processes are completed and terms of service are clearly communicated and understood.
Learning and Development (L&D):
- Organize and deliver training sessions to ensure staff have adequate knowledge of HR systems, procedures, and performance management tools.
- Support learning and development activities by updating dashboards and tracking progress on L&D initiatives.
- Assist in creating content for the monthly HR newsletter, highlighting key L&D programs and updates.
HR Systems Management:
- Use HR management systems to review, enter, and update various HR data, including monitoring deadlines for contract expirations, PACE submissions, and other critical HR milestones.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and compliance with established guidelines and deadlines.
Records and Data Management:
- Maintain confidential personnel records, HR databases, and archives in compliance with organizational standards, ensuring accuracy and easy accessibility.
Staff Deployment and Reporting:
- Monitor staff deployment and handle related administrative actions, including preparing reports to support efficient HR services and enabling WFP to respond swiftly during crises.
- Provide data-driven insights to support workforce planning and decision-making.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance HR processes, systems, and tools to improve efficiency and service delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education: A minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Six or more years of progressively responsible work experience in the relative business stream with experience in general administrative work.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of individuals to provide a high-quality support service.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to collate and compile relevant data from a variety of sources in order to produce periodic reports for supervisor(s).
- Proficiency in using HR management systems, data analysis tools, and MS Office applications.
Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in the English and Bangla
