Functional Responsibilities

Support regional stakeholder coordination and engagement including with ASEAN Member States, ASEAN Secretariat and ASEAN Centre for Energy.

Support project implementation and management for energy transition roadmap and green value chain development.

Facilitate coordination across various programmatic workstreams internally with SEforALL technical experts and UN agencies in Southeast Asia.

Coordinate project activities in alignment with scheduled ASEAN regional meetings for energy, minerals and post-2025 economic community policy dialogue.

Facilitate data collection across Southeast Asian jurisdictions for project reports and policy analysis.

Facilitate monitoring of project implementation deliverables for quarterly reporting.

Support organization of regional meeting and workshops.

Support in drafting of reports, briefing notes and analysis.
Education/Experience/Language requirements

An Advanced Degree (Master's or equivalent) in energy, environmental studies, engineering, economics, international relations, business administration or a related field is required. A First Level University (Bachelor's) degree in combination with an additional two (2) years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

A Minimum of two (2) years of experience in energy transition and the region’s green economy priorities in Southeast Asia is required.

Experience in the ASEAN policy environment is desirable.

Experience in liaising with government officials, private sector, donors and other stakeholders is desirable.
Language

Fluency in English is required.

Working knowledge of another, official UN language is an asset.

Proficiency in a Southeast Asian language is desirable.
