OBJETIVO DEL PUESTO:
El objetivo del puesto es apoyar la implementación de actividades enfocadas en la salud materno-infantil, con énfasis en mejorar la nutrición durante la ventana de los primeros 1,000 días y en mujeres embarazadas y lactantes, mediante la colaboración con actores locales y establecimientos de salud priorizados.

ESTACIÓN DE TRABAJO:

Gracias, Lempira, Honduras

RESPONSABILIDADES:
1. Coordinación Interinstitucional:

• Coordinar con el personal de salud local y la región sanitaria de Lempira la implementación de actividades del proyecto nutricional.
• Facilitar la articulación con actores locales, socios implementadores y comités comunitarios.

2. Promoción de Prácticas Nutricionales:

• Implementar campañas de sensibilización para promover prácticas adecuadas de alimentación materno-infantil, respetando las prácticas culturales.
• Fomentar la lactancia materna exclusiva y prolongada en coordinación con personal de salud y voluntarios comunitarios.

3. Fortalecimiento de Capacidades:

• Capacitar al personal de salud, voluntarios y comunidades en nutrición materno-infantil, vigilancia del crecimiento infantil, inocuidad y preparación de alimentos nutritivos.
• Desarrollar y realizar jornadas prácticas sobre alimentación complementaria saludable.
• Asegurar la inclusión de mujeres y niñas en todas las intervenciones y la eliminación de barreras de género para el acceso a servicios nutricionales.

4. Acciones en Recuperación Resiliente:

• Implementar actividades que fortalezcan la recuperación resiliente postcrisis, enfocadas en el acceso a información y prácticas nutricionales sostenibles.
• Contribuir a la mejora de la seguridad alimentaria y nutricional a nivel comunitario.
• Diseñar y ejecutar herramientas para diagnóstico nutricional.

  5. Desarrollo de Material Educativo:  

• Participar en el diseño y la difusión de materiales educativos sobre alimentación y nutrición materno-infantil.

6. Seguimiento y Reporte:

• Monitorear y evaluar las actividades implementadas, en coordinación con el equipo de nutrición.
• Elaborar informes mensuales de avances y resultados de las actividades del proyecto.
• Garantizar el archivo físico y digital de los medios de verificación.
• Asegurar que los reportes incluyan información desagregada por sexo y edad.

7. Otras Actividades:

• Realizar otras funciones relacionadas con nutrición según las necesidades del proyecto.

CALIFICACIONES Y EXPERIENCIA REQUERIDA:

Educación:  

• Título universitario en Nutrición, Salud Pública, o carreras afines.

Experiencia:  

• Experiencia mínima de 5 años en implementación de programas de nutrición y salud pública.
• Experiencia en trabajo comunitario, desarrollo de campañas de sensibilización y cambio de comportamiento.
• Experiencia en proyectos de recuperación resiliente, postcrisis y fortalecimiento comunitario.
• Experiencia en la promoción de la equidad de género en contextos comunitarios y de desarrollo.
• Experiencia en colaboración con actores locales, gobierno y socios implementadores.
• Competencias y Habilidades:    •    Conocimiento del sistema de salud, normas internacionales de alimentación y nutrición, y seguridad alimentaria.
• Capacidad para desarrollar y facilitar talleres de capacitación comunitaria.
• Habilidad en redacción de informes y sistematización de resultados.
• Experiencia en el diseño de materiales educativos y metodologías participativas.
• Manejo avanzado de Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Actuar de acuerdo con los valores y normas del PMA.
• Entregar resultados oportunos y de calidad.
• Conducción de vehículos mecánicos y licencia vigente.
• Colaborar de manera inclusiva y respetuosa.
• Responder con flexibilidad a las necesidades del contexto.
• Analizar información y anticipar las implicaciones de las decisiones.
• Asegurar la integración de género en todas las actividades implementadas.

Deseables: 

• Deseable el conocimiento del sistema de las Naciones Unidas, incluidos los mandatos relacionados con el género.

Idiomas:    

• Dominio escrito y hablado del idioma español (Nivel C) y deseable un nivel laboral del idioma inglés (Nivel B1).
