The HR Technology and Analytics Branch - HRMOI is responsible for on-going support to critical HR operational processes through the appropriate provision and application of information, processes and enabling technologies. It is also responsible for the developing of the HR Division Technology strategy and roadmap that will support integrated talent management processes, enable full visibility into our global workforce by deploying a technology solution that integrates people processes, data and intelligence from corporate and satellite systems and databases, and will provide workforce analytics and tools to support evidence-based decision making across people-related processes (in particular workforce planning, recruitment, reassignment and deployment to emergencies).

WFP has recently implemented Workday Human Capital Management and is currently looking for a dynamic Business Analyst to support Workday Recruiting, Workforce Planning and the deployment of Talent Management functionalities.

The prefect candidate would have an excellent understanding of Recruiting and Talent Management business processes and proven experience of Workday HCM to be able to work efficiently with various technical and business stakeholders.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with HR units (HQ and Field) to understand their business needs, support the digital transformation and leverage fully on Workday HCM functionalities.
  • Participate actively to the deployment of Talent Management functionalities of Workday (Performance Review, Promotion, Probation…)
  • Work closely with Workday Product owner, functional lead, and key business stakeholders to drive prioritization of requests in Workday HCM and maintain Workday HCM configuration in collaboration with Workday configurators.
  • Be pro-active and provide thinking out of the box. Resolve complex tasks and requirements. Provide Workday expertise, promote and facilitate Workday best practices.
  • Work with the Change Management team and various stakeholders to growth the knowledge around Workday Recruiting and Talent Management.
  • Identify opportunities for Workday configuration improvements and contribute to the enhancement of the platform.
  • When necessary, in collaboration with Workday configurators, prototype and configure solutions in Workday HCM following high quality standards liaising with the security and reporting experts when it is required.
  • Partner with our Workforce Planning team and maintain the configuration of Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Provide Workday Recruiting support to Candidates, Recruiters, Staffing Coordinators and Hiring Managers.
  • Provide iMocha (Candidate assessment Platform) support to Recruiters and Reviewers in HQ and in the field.
  • Prepare, manage and deliver training sessions on both systems, remotely and in person, as circumstances require.
  • Support test scenarios development efforts in coordination with the Functional lead and the various stakeholders.
  • Support the unit and regression testing, integrations testing, and user readiness testing.
  • Monitor and manage defects in relationship with the other team members.
  • When Workday HCM cannot accommodate the business need, work closely with the business units, IT and various stakeholders to identify and implement the best technical solution (market research, tender or inhouse development depending on the case) that can be integrated with Workday HCM.
  • Other tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Education:

University’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or other relevant field of study

Experience:

  • 5+ years of postgraduate relevant professional experience as Business Analyst or HRIS consultant.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in relation to Recruiting or Talent/Career Management or Workforce Planning.
  • Proven experience in Business Process Mapping, development of Business requirements, System testing
  • Experience with solution design, system configuration/administration and implementation of changes within SAAS HRIS platform such as Workday, Adaptive Planning.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions within Workday.
  • Proven experience in developing Learning content and providing trainings.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Advanced use of HCM and/or Talent Management systems (ideally Workday HCM).
  • Excellent knowledge of HR business processes especially related to Talent and Recruiting or Workforce Planning, and best industry practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to document and analyze HR business process.
  • Able to develop training content and deliver face to face or remote trainings.
  • Able to work under broad direction, is self-initiated, responsible for meeting allocated objectives.
  • Able to work with people under pressure, negotiate among multiple parties and establish and maintain effective working relationships with different stakeholders at all levels.
  • Able to work and deliver results within a highly complex organizational environment i.e. with diverse team, matrix structure, highly evolving operational context and staff working hardship locations.
  • Able to work in a multicultural environment.


Languages:

  • Fluency in oral and written English with an intermediate knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) or Portuguese (one of WFP’s working languages).
