To reinforce our Cameroon Country Office team, we are looking for an Administrative Intern. The position is a position with 40h/week. This position is only filled locally with contractual conditions of Cameroon. An expatriation is not intended.

These are your responsibilities
Administration
- Follow up visa application documents and travel arrangements.
- Assist to repare monthly/quarterly leave reports and manage annual leave tracking.
- Assist with data entry, creating and verifying accurancy of documents.
- Assist with receptionist services for the office, greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner; sign in/sign out visitors and direct them; deal with enquiries by telephone, email and face to face from internal and external contacts at all levels.
- Assist with recording incoming and outgoing correspondences.
- Assist with managing the office filling system.
- Assit with the recording and management of inventory, reporting reorder levels, receiption and inspection of good, sourcing for suppliers.
Finance Activities
- Assist with daily finance and administration transactions in compliance to legal norms and CBM policies and deadlines.
- Assist to the effective implementation of internal controls in day to day tasks.
- Assist to prepare financial records for annual auditing process and participate in financial audits.
- Assist in monthly cash counts; bank account reconciliations, for approval by Finanace Expert and file.
- Assist in maintain an updated CO assets register.
- Assist in maintaining a strong financial filling system and manage filing of financial documents.
These are your qualifications
Essential Requirements
· A Master degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Accounting, Economics) obtained after January 2023.
· 0-1 year of verifiable experience in a similar role or in an office environment. Any verifiable prior experience in an INGO is of added advantage.
· Solid organisational skills and attention to detail.
· An effective team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skill
· Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to prioritise work, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Meticulous attention to detail and thoroughness.
· Ability to perform all tasks and handle information in a confidential manner.
· English or French professional proficiency.
· Computer literacy and competencies in MS Office package, particularly with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
· Willingness to commit and adhere to CBM’s values and Child Safeguarding Policies.
· Some knowledge of accounting softwares.
