Quality Assurance Officer - Reception
Location: Athens
Category Salary ΙV: Gross monthly - 2.894,57 Euros
The Quality Assurance Officer – Reception works under the supervision of EUAA in performing some or all of the following tasks:
- Support in the implementation of quality assessment and quality assurance mechanisms and tools, aimed at ensuring quality and standardisation/harmonisation of reception support activities in EUAA operations;
- Participate in quality review exercises related to the reception and vulnerability activities, including registration of asylum applications, according to pre-defined criteria;
- Perform in depth analysis of statistical data, indicators, results and provide reports on findings and quality feedback reports regarding identified focused areas of EUAA operations, mainly in the areas of reception and vulnerability;
- Support in the development/revision and implementation of SOPs, guidance and operational tools related to the quality in reception;
- Keep abreast of and maintain excellent understanding of legal and policy developments in the areas of CEAS and fundamental rights, with a particular focus on reception and vulnerability;
- Support in capacity building activities, such as workshops, shadowing and coaching exercises;
- Draft working documents, including concept notes, briefing notes, technical documents, minutes, reports and other documents;
- Be available to participate in missions, as per the operational needs of EUAA;
- Attend regular or ad hoc meetings, as requested;
- Participate in trainings organised by EUAA or other stakeholders, as requested;
- Provide regular analytical and statistical reports of provided services, challenges faced and best practices observed;
- Perform any other tasks in the interest of the service, relevant for the specific profile.
Requirements
- University degree is required, preferably in the field of law, political, humanitarian, social studies;
- Post-graduate degree will be considered as an asset;
- Previous experience of at least 3 years in the field of reception and vulnerability is required;
- Previous experience with regards to asylum procedures, especially the registration of asylum applications, will be considered an advantage;
- Previous experience in quality assurance and quality assessment methodologies and mechanisms will be considered an advantage;
- Fluency in Greek and English (oral and written);
- Computer literacy, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel), use of internet and web-based applications;
- Excellent analytical, organisational and prioritisation skills;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Available to participate in missions in the interest of the Service
Training Support Officer – Reception
Location: Athens
Category Salary ΙV: Gross monthly - 2.894,57 Euros
The Training Support Officer – Reception works under the supervision of EUAA in performing some or all of the following tasks:
- Work as a member of a team of trainers who organise and deliver training activities under the supervision of the EUAA Training and Professional Development Centre, in particular trainings in the EUAA Training Curriculum modules, tailor-made training sessions, etc;
- Analyse the evaluation of training sessions and propose necessary adjustments;
- Contribute to training needs analysis on the ground, in close consultation with the relevant persons in the operation and EUAA Training Planning and Programming Sector;
- Support the design tailor-made trainings, based on the needs analysis conducted on the ground;
- Support EUAA reception operation in capacity building activities, such as thematic workshops;
- Acquire knowledge and skills in didactics and be trained in other EUAA training modules;
- Keep abreast of and maintain excellent understanding of legal and policy developments in the areas of CEAS and fundamental rights, with a particular focus on reception and vulnerability;
- Draft working documents including briefing notes, technical documents, minutes, reports and other documents;
- Attend regular or ad hoc meetings, as requested;
- Be available to participate in missions, as per the operational needs of EUAA;
- Provide to EUAA regular analytical and statistical reports of provided services, challenges faced and best practices observed;
- Draft documents, SOPs, templates, minutes and reports;
- Perform any other tasks in the interest of the service, relevant for the specific profile.
Requirements
- University degree is required, preferably in the field of law, political, humanitarian and social studies;
- Post-graduate degree will be an advantage;
- Previous experience for at least 3 years in the field of reception and vulnerability is required; previous experience in asylum and in EUAA operations will be considered an advantage;
- EUAA or other trainings on reception and/or vulnerability and/or registration procedures will be an advantage - dates must be explicitly mentioned in the CV;
- Previous experience and/or complete training in didactics will be an advantage;
- Proficiency in English and Greek (Written and oral) is required;
- Computer literate, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel), use of internet and web-based applications;
- Analytical skills and ability to work as a member of team;
- Available to participate in missions in the interest of the Service.
