About myAgro:

myAgro is a non-profit agritech social enterprise based in West Africa. We have developed a mobile savings model that allows farmers to invest their own funds in high-quality seed, fertilizer, and agricultural training to increase their harvest and income by 50-100%. Our North Star is to support 1 million farmers in 2026 - providing them the tools they need to prosper. Our organization has received recognition and support from Skoll Foundation, Echoing Green, World Bank, and The Audacious Project from TED. Learn more from our founder and CEO here.

About the Role:

As the Program Manager, Innovations, you will lead the design, testing, and scale-up of innovative programs that help myAgro meet its ambitious goal of reaching 1 million farmers by 2026. You will manage pilot programs from concept to execution ensuring they are user-centered, data-informed, and ready for integration into our core operations. You’ll collaborate across departments to bring new ideas to life, translate insights into relevant strategies, and champion innovation across the organization. Your work will help unlock new opportunities for farmers and deepen myAgro’s impact at scale.

You Will:

  • Design and lead pilots: From concept to launch, manage high-potential pilot programs such as poultry, agroforestry, or agricultural training with the goal of testing, improving successful innovations that improve farmer outcomes.
  • Champion user-centered design: Conduct field research with farmers and field staff to inform solution design. Ensure pilots are rooted in real-world user needs, leveraging design thinking and human-centered methodologies.
  • Document and share insights: Develop detailed strategies, reports, and project documentation to support the replication and scale of successful pilots across regions. Contribute to a culture of learning by sharing insights across teams.
  • Coordinate across teams: Facilitate alignment and collaboration across departments (e.g., field operations, training) to ensure cross-functional support for innovation projects.
  • Oversee project management: Develop detailed work plans, delegate tasks, coach team members, and ensure execution on time and within budget.
  • Analyze data for decision-making: Gather and interpret data from pilots to assess viability, forecast impact, and support resource planning.

You Have:

  • At least 5 years of management experience with a background in scaling or expanding programs in rural areas.
  • Designed and developed programs in rural areas of Africa.
  • Experience working cross-functionally, often sitting at the intersection of multiple departments.
  • Comfort operating in “white space” environments, where problems are not well defined and solutions require creative thinking and experimentation.
  • Familiarity with design thinking, human-centered design, and field research methodologies.
  • Fluency in French and English; Wolof a plus.

Our Benefits:

  • Health insurance (including dental, vision and health coverage)
  • Approximately 4 weeks of paid time off each year
  • Professional development and laptop stipends
  • Parental leave
  • The opportunity to make a difference for farmers everyday!
