About this position
We are looking for a highly analytical and forward-thinking Talent Solutions Senior Associate, who will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of talent initiatives that align with our Institutional Strategy, People Strategy and Talent Management Framework. In this role, you will interact closely with our Human Resources Business Partners, Centers of Expertise in the HR Department and other stakeholders to share data-informed expertise, enhance our organizational capabilities and support our culture and leadership initiative.
You will work in the Talent Management Division part of the Human Resources Department. This Division is responsible for attracting, developing and retaining the right people in the right roles, with the right skills and capabilities, to support IDB’s mission.
What you’ll do
- Support the design and execution of talent management initiatives including workforce planning, succession planning, key-talent and key-positions identification, and other career development initiatives.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and our Centers of Expertise to evaluate the effectiveness of those initiatives and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects to integrate talent management with broader organizational goals.
- Facilitate training sessions for HR Business Partners and other Centers of Expertise to ensure consistent application of talent management practices.
- Analyze and interpret talent data to provide insights to leverage talent initiatives.
- Conduct internal benchmarking and external market research to ensure competitive talent practices.
- Stay up to date with the best practices and emerging trends in talent management.
What you'll need
- Education: Master’s degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
- Experience: At least three years of progressive experience in a role focused on talent management, organizational development, or a related field, in a multinational environment.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required.

Type of contract and duration
International: International staff contract, 36 months initially, renewable upon mutual agreement.
