As an Information Management Executive, you'll be at the heart of our Proposals & Grants team, helping to drive our ambitious Philanthropy & Partnerships strategy. Your main focus will be on designing and managing innovative information and knowledge systems, making sure our fundraisers have the best resources at their fingertips. You'll lead the way in sharing information proactively and creating engaging donor communications that highlight the impact of the British Red Cross. Your role will also include managing financial and project data, working closely with content teams, promoting CRM best practices, and assisting with team training. Your efforts will be crucial in connecting human kindness with human crisis, truly making a difference in the lives of those we support.
What will a day in the life of an Information Management Executive involve? You'll be:
- Designing and overseeing information and knowledge management systems.
- Sharing information proactively through SharePoint hubs, newsletters, and internal sessions.
- Producing donor-facing communications and identifying relevant resources.
- Managing financial and project information on fundraising databases.
- Coordinating with content-producing teams to source and upload information.
- Assisting with team learning and training on information management best practices.
To be a successful Information Management Executive, you’ll need:
- Knowledge of information and knowledge management systems and tools, with experience in designing, implementing, or managing communications platforms.
- Understanding the needs of high-value fundraising audiences.
- Strong project management skills and ability to initiate own projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting and developing internal working relationships to influence stakeholders.
- High level of financial and data literacy, including a sound knowledge of working with statistics.
