DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly competent and committed young person for a 6-month internship, starting in September 2025.

Our work is driven by a strong commitment to systemic change for environmental and social justice. We coalesce decades of experience in social impact and systems change design to support public as well as corporate actors to co-create the regenerative and resilient world that we deserve to live in. Our approaches are diverse, multi-actor focused and fuelled by systems thinking: The whole is more than the sum of its parts!
The work you will focus on is highly diverse and you will have the opportunity to take on different roles in several projects. A particular focus of the internship will be working on complex systems maps alongside our highly experienced colleagues. You will get trained in our systems mapping methodology and apply that on real life client projects - with private clients, regional governments or networks of systemic investors.

Here are examples of some of our latest projects:

In our portfolio, we have worked on a wide range of systems maps, including topics such as food, regenerative agriculture, healthcare, early childhood development, plastic pollution, freshwater and energy.

Some of your tasks will include:

  • Support the co-creation of systems maps (on biodiversity, food, childcare and other) to identify key intervention points within social and environmental sustainability challenges;

  • Research on a variety of systems thinking tools and their potential application to ReImagined Futures’ work;

  • Support the development of the systemic investing field;

  • Creation of marketing materials and content for our LinkedIn page;

  • Admin support.

During the internship, you will have the opportunity to specialise in areas you are particularly passionate about. Our objective is for this internship to align with your personal and professional goals as well as our projects.

Some of the qualities we are looking for in our future intern include:

    • Driven by a sense of purpose and commitment to systemic change for social and environmental justice;

    • Organised and professional working style;

    • Perfect English speaking and writing skills (native or C2 level);

    • Excellent research skills;

    • At least a beginner level knowledge of systems thinking and a keen interest to learn more;

    • Professional working competency in Spanish is desirable as it will allow you to support our collaborations with the Catalan Government;

    • Keenness to learn and develop, complete extra courses and attend events;

    • Graphic design and a sense of how to make documents and websites look pretty is a bonus!

    • Experience in facilitation and leading group discussions or workshops is highly valued!

    • Background in or deeper understanding of traditional or impact investing is a bonus!

    You can find out more about our work on our website and LinkedIn page.
