The Scope
We are seeking an engaged and detail-oriented Travel Officer who brings solid expertise in travel coordination and a passion for FSC’s mission. You will join a collaborative, multinational team working to enhance our organizational effectiveness through improved systems, tools, and processes—supporting our ambitious Global Strategy as we grow.

Main Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of business travel, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation.
- Act as a liaison with travel agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders to secure timely and cost-effective bookings.
- Monitor travel itineraries and proactively resolve issues such as delays or cancellations.
- Ensure compliance with travel policies and support the development and improvement of these policies.
- Provide administrative support for visas, insurance, travel briefings, and documentation.
- Review and approve travel expenses; assist with the preparation of monthly travel reports.
- Serve as the primary contact for staff inquiries related to travel logistics and policies.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Contribute to travel risk management efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Your profile
Education and Training:
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Travel Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years in travel coordination or related administrative roles.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
- Accurate, diligent, and able to multitask under pressure.
- Familiar with financial or travel-related administration.
- Fluent in English & Spanish (spoken and written).
- Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and travel management tools (e.g., OBEs, travel expense systems)
- Experience in multi-cultural, multi-lingual, global team, ideally in NGOs or non-profits.
- Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity to the diversity of values, views and approaches to issues relevant to the FSC program by stakeholders around the world.
- Professional demeanour with the ability to represent the organization effectively.

Location: Oaxaca, Mexico (hybrid)
Working Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week.
Duration of Employment: Temporary contract – 2 years (extension possible, subject to satisfactory performance).
Starting Date: As soon as possible.
Travel: Sporadic travel is required.
