  • Partnership Management and assisting in compiling partner's budget. 
  • Spot check of Partners on a quarterly basis. 
  • Post monthly spreadsheet transactions of Partners to integra ERP accounting system. Ensure that all information in the spreadsheets is correct and complete. 
  • Check and Review of partners’ financial reports
  • Review of Budget coding given by different partners for each project. 
  • Review of BVA's report and reconcile it with monthly or quarterly partner's liquidation. 
  • Train finance team members on the usage of the ERP accounting system. 
  • Receive cash forecasts from the partners and Cash Transfer Requests for all partners.
  • Travelling to different field offices for spot check of Partner offices and report to Senior Finance Coordinator
  • Assisting his/her supervisors on bringing improvement through recommendation, and necessary actions.
  • Monthly / Quarterly finance monitoring meeting with partners on evaluating its operation and how they are complying with Donor and IRC requirements. 
  • Review the bank reconciliation of Partners and participate in Partners' project capacity review. 
  • Assist partnership manager in the drafted partnership agreement, financial template, budget, and proposals stage of entering into a mutual agreement with new partners. 
  • Participate in professional development activities, as needed, or requested and perform other duties, as necessary or as requested. 
  • In the absence of Senior Finance Coordinator review and verification of partners documents presented for finance verification and ensure that these are in accordance with IRC and donor policies and procedures. 
  • Actively participate in capacity building of subordinate staff.

  • Experience with partners spot check and audit.
  • Ability to build relationships while asking tough questions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication ability
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, financial regulations, and best practices in the NGO sector.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Accounting, public administration, business administration, economics, management, finance or related field
  • At least four to five years’ experience in audit firms or finance
  • Be able to work with MS office and IRC/other accounting software
  • Experience in management of funds from multiple of donors, preparing and review partners budgets.
  • Fluency in Dari and/or Pushto, and English
  • Ability to work closely, professionally, and constructively with all others regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, race, tribe, or cultural background.
  • Strong Communication Skills and good command of oral and written English
  • Good Organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to work under pressure.
