The HALO Trust, a sector-leading humanitarian NGO, is seeking an enthusiastic Microsoft Power Platform specialist to join our team.
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform specialist to lead in our developments of Power Apps and provide architectural guidance on how to optimise our use of the Power Platform suite of technologies. You will engage with our teams across HALO to co-ordinate Power App deployments, coding Power App solutions and working with our IT teams to manage the CoE for the HALO Power Platform deployments.
Responsibilities
You will:
- Develop and customize Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven) to meet business needs.
- Design and implement workflows using Power Automate for automation and process improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Integrate Power Apps with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other data sources.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing Power Apps solutions and provide technical support.
- Ensure security, governance, and compliance with best practices in the Power Platform environment.
- Conduct training and workshops for end-users and business units.
- Stay updated with Microsoft Power Platform advancements and recommend innovations.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience in Power Apps developments, with excellent experience in managing large-scale deployments.
- A strong technical understanding of the Dataverse such that they can provide architectural guidance, including cost implications
- Enjoys technology and is curious to learn.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Communicates effectively and builds positive relationships cross-Functionally
- Is a team player with a can-do attitude.
- Remains calm and collected under pressure.
Desirable:
- Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Pages.
- Experience in low-code/no-code development and automation.
- Ability to integrate Power Platform with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and third-party applications.
- Knowledge of Dataverse, Azure, and API connections.
- Understanding of security, governance, and compliance within Power Platform.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
- 3+ years of experience working with Power Platform solutions.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-900, PL-100, PL-200).
- Experience in solution design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work on migration projects and business transformation initiatives
- Ability to mentor and train others in Power Platform best practices
