Job Description
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Support CBI and Rental Assistance Activities:
- Assist in the implementation of cash-based interventions and rental assistance projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery of assistance.
- Identify and register vulnerable families based on pre-established criteria to ensure targeted support.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate documentation of beneficiary registration, cash disbursements, and project activities.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports, providing necessary data and insights.
- Field Coordination and Beneficiary Interaction:
- Conduct field activities, including cash distribution and monitoring of rental assistance, ensuring compliance with organizational procedures.
- Engage with beneficiaries to provide clear information and address any concerns.
- Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Participate in monitoring and evaluation processes to assess project effectiveness and suggest improvements.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist in processing payments, managing records, and ensuring compliance with donor and organizational standards.
- Efficient Task Execution:
- Quickly assimilate and execute tasks with minimal supervision, contributing to the timely achievement of project objectives.

Required Qualifications and Experience
EDUCATION
- A secondary school diploma or equivalent is required.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in supporting the implementation of humanitarian programs, including cash transfers, rental assistance, or similar activities.
- Experience in beneficiary registration, documentation management, and direct interaction with beneficiaries in a field setting.
- Experience in working with vulnerable populations in crisis situations is an asset.
- Previous experience with IOM or similar humanitarian organizations is preferred.
SKILLS
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with beneficiaries and team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Languages[1]
IOM’s official languages are English, French, and Spanish.
REQUIRED
For this position, fluency in Creole, and French is required (oral and written).
