The purpose of this consultancy is to lead a strategic planning refresh process that engages our
leadership, staff, Board, members, and stakeholders, culminating in a three-year strategic plan
that is grounded in data, responsive to global health trends, and designed for impact. The
consultant will work with the Management, and the Board strategy task team.
The Strategy Consultant will:
❖ Review previous consultation reports, the previous strategic plan, for an internal analysis
❖ Remotely engage stakeholders through interviews, focus groups, and/or surveys
❖ Facilitate 2 strategic planning workshops with Board and other members
❖ Draft and finalize a 3-year Strategic Plan (including KPIs and implementation roadmap) and
undergo 2 revisions after feedback from management/Board
❖ Provide a recommended high-level Year 1 operationalization plan
❖ One final presentation to Board of Directors and Executive Director
Key Deliverables:
❖ Strategic Assessment Take-aways Report
❖ Remote Workshop Facilitation Agenda & Summary Reports
❖ Draft & Final Strategic Plan (2025–2028)
❖ Draft Implementation Plan
- Demonstrated experience (10+ years) in strategic planning with global health or international development organizations
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience leading strategy projects with boards and executive teams
- Familiarity with global health landscape and organizational development
- Excellent writing and synthesis skills
- Relevant graduate degree preferred
