Location: UK Flexible
Salary: £100,000 to £110,000 per annum
Hours: 35 per week
Contract: Permanent

This is a strategic leadership role at the heart of the British Red Cross. Are you passionate about shaping health and care services that truly make a difference? Do you want to lead a team that supports people to live safely and independently after a crisis? As Director of Health & Care, you’ll drive innovation, champion inclusion, and ensure our services meet the needs of communities across the UK. You’ll work closely with leaders and frontline teams to deliver real impact - locally and nationally.
A day in the life of a Director of Health & Care will involve:
- Leading the strategic direction of health and care services across the UK.
- Collaborating with leaders, partners, and stakeholders to shape service delivery.
- Overseeing operational performance, budgets, and quality assurance.
- Championing innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement across teams.
To be a successful Director of Health & Care, you’ll need:
- Proven senior leadership experience in health and social care environments.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to influence at board level.
- A collaborative mindset and experience managing complex stakeholder relationships.
- A passion for inclusive leadership and delivering services that put people in crisis first.
