EU-funded “Strengthening Civil Society for Responsible Business Conduct”project aims to advance the Business and Human Rights (BHR) agenda in Türkiye by empowering civil society to effectively advocate for and contribute to the development and implementation of BHR policies and practices. Over a 36-month implementation period, the project targets rights-based Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), business membership organizations, and other relevant stakeholders.
The project will deliver three main outputs:

This includes development of detailed grant guidelines, evaluation criteria, and ongoing mentoring and monitoring of grantees.
- Capacity Building for CSOs, including the delivery of advanced trainings on BHR concepts and tools, development of digital training content, infographics, and resource materials to support CSO engagement with BHR frameworks.
- Facilitation of Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue through knowledge-sharing platforms, roundtables, and expert-led discussions involving civil society, the business sector, and public institutions. These engagements will also contribute to the development of knowledge products such as toolkits, self-assessment frameworks, and advocacy guides.
The action ultimately aims to foster a more accountable and human rights-compliant business environment in Türkiye through empowered civil society engagement.
