Human Resources Clerk – Document Management

The African Union Development Agency invites applicants who are citizens of African Union Member States for the post of Human Resources Clerk – Document Management.

Under the supervision of the Senior Human Resources Officer, Compensation and Benefits, the Human Resources Clerk, Document Management, will support and maintain the Human Resources documentation system. The incumbent will ensure the accurate and efficient handling, processing, filing, and archiving of documents, including monitoring and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data.

Required Skills and Competencies

  1. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in handling and processing documentation.
  2. Excellent customer service, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Ability to perform multiple tasks and work with various individuals.
  4. Maintain confidentiality at the highest level at all times.
  5.  High level of integrity and accountability, flexible approach to work coupled with enthusiasm, commitment, and energy.
  6. Ability to work in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment.

Education and Experience:

A high school certificate and at least five (5) years of experience as a records management assistant, archivist, human resources assistant, or in another relevant administrative role within the public sector, multilateral institutions, and international non-governmental or similar organisations nationally, regionally, and/or internationally.

Remuneration:

An indicative basic salary of US$ 14112,36 per annum plus other entitlements such as gratuity (15% of basic salary) and medical insurance among others in conformity with the rules and procedures applicable to locally recruited staff of the African Union.
