Result of Service
The SAP HR & Payroll Expert will contribute to the effective delivery of HR digital solutions by ensuring business requirements are accurately translated into system functionalities. The incumbent’s support will lead to improved operational efficiency through timely system enhancements, testing, and seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Their work will directly support informed decision-making, enhanced user experience, and the reliable operation of HR and payroll systems across the Agency.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Conducts business analysis for new requests initiated by HR department; gathers data and information on the current requirements of end users in order to capture their system requirements and specifications 2. Coordinates system support and maintenance activities with technical teams, external service providers, and third-party vendors to determine technical feasibility of solutions and provide support and maintenance 3. Develops concrete detailed project plans to manage several end-to-end simple independent projects or one mid-size project and ensures that projects are completed on schedule and resources are effectively utilized 4. Closely coordinates with staff and managers from the HR department in Headquarters and field offices of the Agency to ensure timely completion and delivery of solutions in line with business expectations. 5. Converts business requirements to functional and technical specifications; drafts change requests documents for the system changes to meet the business requirements. 6. Prepares test case documents and test plans for system integration tests and executes said test plans; supports the quality assurance testing of the entire solution prior to the user acceptance test. 7. Prepares instruction manuals, standard operating procedures and other documentation for the systems and applications developed to ensure that end users are properly informed on how the system works. 8. Conducts end user training when necessary and prepares weekly reports on response / completion status of assignments for Management decisions.
Qualifications/special skills
A university degree from an accredited educational institution in Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Information Systems (BIS), Business Administration, Computer Science with specialization in Human Resources Management. A minimum of six years of progressively responsible and relevant experience in the area of software applications development and implementation, with proven experience in: i. Business analysis, understanding of business needs and proven ability to propose solutions. ii. SAP HR and Payroll Management including NPO (for international staff). iii. Advanced data analysis. iv. Project management; v. MS Office tools.
Languages
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Arabic is required.
Additional Information
The incumbent reports to the Head Enterprise Business Solutions Section (HQA) or and receives technical guidance from Senior Functional Expert – HR. The estimated remuneration for this consultancy is approximately JOD 1,190.40.
