Peace Building Team Leader

Purpose of the Job

• Lead implementation and quality control of PB/EcRec activities.
• Supervise and guide field teams, ensuring conflict-sensitive, community-based programming.
• Organize peace dialogues, workshops, and conflict sensitivity training.
• Conduct needs assessments and monitoring & evaluation in coordination with MEAL.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting; improve reporting tools and staff capacity.
• Line-manage project staff, conducting appraisals and building team capacity.
• Liaise with partners, authorities, and civil society for smooth operations.
• Support project design, proposal writing, budgeting, and expenditure monitoring.

Qualifications:

• South Sudanese national with 3+ years of humanitarian experience.
• Background in peacebuilding, conflict sensitivity, and community engagement.
• Skilled in assessments, FGDs, surveys, and facilitating workshops.
• Strong team player with administrative, organizational, and cultural adaptability.
• Willing to travel and work in Wau and Jur River Counties.

Desirable:

• Experience in project cycle management, safety, and field operations.
• Prior work in target locations and strong contextual understanding.
• Strong facilitation, negotiation, training, and financial management skills.
