Minimum Qualifications:

Holds a recognized Midwifery Diploma/Certificate, is registered with the Ministry of Public Health, and has successfully passed the Exit Exam.
At least 2 years of clinical experience as a midwife.
Prior experience and training in sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) response and clinical care for sexual assault survivors is an advantage.
Experience working with and supporting community volunteers in health promotion, community mobilization, and awareness raising is desirable.
Ability to maintain regular inventory and consumption tracking of medical drugs and supplies.
Coordinate with relevant staff to ensure timely requests for medical supplies.
Technical competency and flexibility to understand and navigate cultural and political dynamics.
Skills to provide sensitive and appropriate medical counseling.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prepare clear and concise reports in English.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure in a challenging environment, demonstrating patience, empathy, and diplomacy.
Must be willing and able to work night shifts as per the duty roster.
Must be capable of conducting outreach services at the community level, including health education and service delivery.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when required.
Capacity to live and work in difficult and high-pressure conditions.
Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all patient consultations and records.
Submit timely and comprehensive reports as required.
Fluency in Pashto and/or Dari.
Proficiency in English is an advantage.
Basic computer literacy is an advantage.
Ability to work respectfully, professionally, and collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, or culture.
