Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bid Writer to join our team at Hart Security, a premier risk management firm based in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing winning proposals and bids for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and tender regulations.

Role objectives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, write, and review high-quality bids and proposals in response to various tender opportunities, specifically focusing on EEAS, UN, and Diplomatic regulations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, articulate project objectives, and tailor proposals to meet client needs.

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the risk management sector and trends impacting bids.

  • Ensure all proposals are compliant with organizational policy and guidelines, including thorough review of tender documents and requirements.

  • Manage multiple bidding processes simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and all documentation is submitted on time.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders and clients as necessary.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across various levels of the organisation.

  • Analyse feedback from bid submissions to improve future proposals and processes.

Project reporting

This role reports to the Director of business. 

Key competencies

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a bid writing role, preferably within the risk management or related industries.

  • Proven track record of successful bid submissions with quantifiable outcomes.

  • In-depth knowledge and experience with EEAS, UN, and Diplomatic tender regulations.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills in English (native or equivalent proficiency).

  • An academic qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Communications, or Risk Management) is preferred.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects.

  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for bid preparation and management.

Team management

This role has no team management responsibilities.
