The IRC is seeking to hire a Climate Resilience and Adaptation Lead for the upcoming Institutional Strengthening component of the FCDO-funded “Building Resilience and Addressing Vulnerability to Emergencies (BRAVE)” Programme in Pakistan.
This is anticipated to be a 4-year, approximately £15 million programme. The aim of the institutional strengthening component of BRAVE is to improve the institutionalised planning, resource management, budget allocation and implementation of policies across different government levels, which will ultimately lead to increased government investment scaling up and replicating BRAVE's resilience activities in other districts. The programme interventions would strengthen institutional capacity and capability across federal, provincial, and district government departments, enhancing their ability to mitigate and respond to climate-related shocks and stresses.
