Its main objectives are to foster social cohesion and build trust amongst communities in crises. • Assist in discussions on the way forward for the Global Health for Peace Initiative (GHPI) following the decision endorsed in the 75th World Health Assembly – Decision WHA75(24) –which requests a roadmap.
• Contribute to the discussion on the application of the Global Health for Peace Initiative (GHPI) to countries beyond conflict settings to improve social cohesion, trust, and, where possible, promote peace as a key determinant of health.
• Assist in documenting country experiences and lessons learned in programming and interventions under the umbrella of Health for Peace.
