Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position of Associate IT Officer (End-User Platforms) is assigned to the Infrastructure and Technology Division (ITID) within the Information Technology Department (ITD). You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.

You will report to the Designated Technical International Staff and Officer (as applicable).

Your Role
As an Associate IT Officer (End-User Platforms), you will ensure the effective deployment, support, and utilization of Microsoft Copilot and related Microsoft O365 Platform tools across the organization, while also contributing to the technical documentation and knowledge management efforts within the IT Infrastructure and Technology Division.

You will:

  • Lead the deployment and integration of Microsoft Copilot and related Microsoft tools
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Copilot and related O365 tools to end-users.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to enhance user proficiency.
  • Manage change initiatives related to the adoption and utilization of Microsoft Copilot and O365 tools.
  • Act as an evangelist for software productivity tools, promoting their benefits and driving user engagement across the organization.
  • Assist existing Microsoft O365 Administrators, ensuring continuity of service and support.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including PowerPoint presentations, wiki articles, and user guides for the IT Division.
  • Oversee the organization and maintenance of the IT Department wiki, ensuring information is current and accessible.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in Microsoft AI tools and O365 platforms to provide informed recommendations and insights.

Qualifications

You will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or relevant fields. Alternatively, a university degree in related field combined with additional relevant professional experience can be considered.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration and support
  • Strong technical writing skills with experience in creating technical documentation and training materials
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with stakeholders to design and deliver effective training programs
  • Familiarity with change management principles and practices
  • Written and verbal proficiency in English

This appointment is open to internal and external applicants.

This position is funded by a temporary funding source (e.g., a trust fund, financing facility, or capital expenditure budget) and therefore, the renewal of the appointment and its duration are subject to the availability of the funding source.

This is a fixed term appointment with option to renew, initially for a period of up to 3 years, or up to the Normal Retirement Date (NRD), whichever comes earlier, for the purpose(s) and conditions determined by ADB, in accordance with Administrative Order No. 2.01 (Recruitment and Appointment). After the initial fixed-term period, ADB may choose to renew the appointment for up to an additional 3 years or not renewed. This decision will be made in the overall interest of ADB, based on factors including but not limited to the requirement of Staff’s particular blend of skills and experience for the medium-term work program of the organizational unit, sufficient funding to cover the renewed period, and Staff’s performance and suitability for employment. There is no limit to the number of renewals up to NRD. However, this appointment is not convertible to a regular appointment.
