WFP first entered China in 1979. Now, it carries out innovative pilot projects to improve smallholder farmers’ livelihoods and preschool children’s nutrition status, raises funds to help people in need and shares China’s development experience with other developing countries to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger.
