The mission of the Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) Vice Presidential Unit (VPU) is to leverage information and technology as a force multiplier to accelerate, deepen, and sustain development impact. Unit Context 
The ITS Country Engagement unit (ITSCE) delivers digital support for global and country-specific products, supports systems aligned with the new Country Engagement model, and provides geospatial solutions for geo-tagging of projects to improve spatial visibility and impact tracking. It also drives the delivery of AI-powered business solutions to support business priorities and accelerate data-driven decision-making across the institution. 

ITSCE is looking for an experienced Solutions Implementation Lead to support the delivery of the unit’s capital work program on Geospatial solutions.  

Specific Responsibilities 

- Lead product implementation of the following capital assets in the Geospatial Solutions product line: Enhanced spatial indicators in the Geospatial poverty portal, Digital Monitoring Reporting and Verification (dMRV) observatory for carbon markets.  

- Oversee the deployment and integration of software solutions within development teams.  

- Bridge the gap between technical development and business requirements, ensuring that software products are successfully delivered and adopted by end users. 

- Manage the end-to-end implementation process, from initial solution design through deployment and post-launch support.  

- Coordinate cross-functional teams, oversee project timelines and deliverables, resolve of technical challenges, and assure that solutions align with both technical requirements and business goals. 

- Work closely with product managers, developers, quality assurance teams, and client stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.  

- Development and implementation of Geospatial solutions, including Digital Twins, and evaluation of spatial technologies. Support the global GeoLab presence.
