Functional Responsibilities
Functions/Key Results Expected
- Logistics and Asset Management support

Transport Services and other Administration Support

Assist in appropriate maintenance and safe and secure storage of all office assets, equipment and property.

Assist the Support Services Manager in the physical verification of assets.
- Assist in the organization and movement of assets.
- Gather requirements from personnel for office supplies and submit to the Support Services Manager.
- Assist with basic tasks related to customs clearance.
- Assist in the receipt of goods and equipment for the office.

Provides reliable and safe driving services for the transport of authorized personnel and assists in preparing/processing travel documents.

Provide proper maintenance, servicing and repair of all office vehicles for top performance and safe operating conditions in accordance with UNOPS vehicle management policy and procedures.

Assist in arranging official transport for personnel in coordination with management and security guidelines.

Assist in providing administrative support to programme and project staff on airport transfers.

Assist in preparing and tracking petty cash related documents.

Provide daily vehicle log on fuel consumption and mileage.
Education/Experience/Language requirements
- Secondary school diploma (High School or equivalent) with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience is defined as experience in providing administrative support in logistic or transportation.
- Minimum of one (1) year of logistics experience is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in driving armored vehicles is required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Experience as a driver in a conflict/post-conflict environment is required.
- Experience in usage of computers and office software packages (Word, Excel, Outlook) is desired.
- Fluency in Pashtu or Dari (reading, writing, speaking) is required.
- Intermediate English (reading, writing, speaking) is required.
