Mission and objectives
Context
IOM is the Cluster Lead Agency for Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) for natural disaster-induced displacement situations under the 2005 IASC Humanitarian Reform, and since 2017 is the Co-Lead of the Platform for the Coordination of the Venezuela Response, together with UNHCR (R4V). In Colombia, it also leads the Shelter and Settlements Cluster and pushes the HDPN agenda as an expression of the New Way of Working, which falls within the 2030 Agenda commitment to “leave no one behind”. It is critical that these commitments are operationalized at country level through concrete initiatives to work more coherently across humanitarian, development and peace-responsive efforts
Task description

3. Assist in identifying opportunities, and providing support to new and existing mechanisms and platforms, to strengthen joint approaches and planning across the HDPN with a variety of partners at different levels, reflecting the principles of the OECD-DAC Recommendation on the HDP Nexus
4. Contribute to HDPN mapping analysis including definition of common priorities in a number of crises
5. Assist the Humanitarian Coordinator and their team with reporting and keep track of deadlines for the production of key segments of Refugees and Migrants Response Plan, and of the Humanitarian Response Plan
