(based in Amsterdam is required)

About the Role

You are responsible for supporting the implementation of staff development and organisational learning, by laying the foundations for sustainable people development. You will support operational ambitions linked to Performance Management and Talent management in country programmes, and further support OCA’s strategic goal of enabling emergency response and preparedness.

Your Responsibilities

  • You work with and support Country Programmes management teams to implement staff development and organisational learning tools and processes. 

  • You use your knowledge and experience in this area to create a realistic plan to bring staff development and organisational learning to a level in accordance with OCA’s standards. 

  • You train and work with colleagues in country programmes on relevant talent initiatives.

  • You remain aligned with L&D Advisors and Human Resources Advisors for country programmes.

  • You work mainly in countries of operation – up to 50% of contracted hours.

What You Bring

  • Proven L&D manager experience in MSF country programmes

  • Strong advisory and coaching skills with the ability to translate complex needs into practical solutions

  • Demonstrated ability to develop tools and resources tailored to diverse field settings

  • Excellent relationship-building skills and cultural sensitivity

  • Ability and willingness to travel to Country Programmes 50% of working time. 

  • Collaborative mindset and experience working across multidisciplinary teams

  • Fluent in English and French is required

What We Offer

An employment contract is offered, based on 40 hours per week. The contract is for one year open to renewal based on performance.

The gross monthly salary ranges between 3,743 and 5,153 euros. The exact salary will depend on relevant work experience.
