Background (Contexte)

Le Tchad est confronté à des épidémies récurrentes de rougeole, cVDPV2, diphtérie et fièvre jaune, en raison de faibles couvertures vaccinales et d’une surveillance insuffisante des maladies évitables par la vaccination (MEV). L’OMS, avec l’appui de GAVI et d’autres partenaires, déploie des consultants pour renforcer la vaccination systématique, les activités de vaccination supplémentaires (AVS), et la surveillance épidémiologique dans les provinces

Livrables (Tâches et résultats attendus)

• Appuyer la planification et la mise en œuvre de la surveillance des MEV et des MAPI.
• Renforcer la surveillance épidémiologique active et passive des MEV et des MAPI.
• Assurer le suivi des indicateurs de performance et la qualité des données.
• Participer à la supervision formative et à la coordination multisectorielle.
• Contribuer à la rédaction de rapports techniques et à la documentation des bonnes pratiques.
• Amélioration des indicateurs de surveillance des MEV et des MAPI.
• Identification des forces et faiblesses du programme PEV.
• Recommandations concrètes pour renforcer les performances du PEV et de la surveillance.
• Plans de travail trimestriels élaborés et transmis

Qualifications, expérience, compétences et langues

Qualification

• Essentielle: Premier diplôme universitaire en science de la santé ou médecine.
• Souhaitable: Bonne connaissance du système de santé tchadien et des outils de surveillance.

Expérience

• Essentielle: Expérience en épidémiologie et vaccination (minimum 2 ans)
• Souhaitable: Médecin santé publique

Compétences et connaissances

• Compétences essentielles: Capacité à travailler en milieu rural et multiculturel.
• Compétences fonctionnelles: Maîtrise des outils informatiques et de reporting.
• Compétences informatiques: Maîtrise des outils de surveillance et de gestion de données.

Langues et niveau requis

• Essentiel: Français (niveau professionnel).
• Désirable: Anglais (niveau intermédiaire).

Supervision
Sous la supervision du Team Lead Vaccine-Preventable Diseases (VPD) et la direction du Représentant de l’OMS au Tchad
Lieu de travail
• Sur site : Bureau OMS Tchad, N’Djamena et déplacements dans les provinces selon les besoins du programme
Voyages
Déplacements fréquents dans les provinces pour la supervision et la coordination des activités de surveillance et vaccination

Rémunération et budget

Grade NOB : 1,920,250F CFA par mois

Durée du contrat

Trois mois renouvelables, selon les besoins du programme et les financements disponibles
