The Prospect Management Specialist within the Philanthropy Operations & Performance team will support prospect assignment and moves management processes that drive fundraising and conservation outcomes. They will leverage technology, Agile project management, and user-centered approaches to improve knowledge management and address operational inefficiencies. They will work collaboratively within the team and across other departments to ensure alignment of the team’s products. The Prospect Management Specialist will:
Provide prospect management solutions, support, and guidance to TNC’s development teams.
Create, streamline, and scale prospect management resources to development teams including, but not limited to, creating job aids, organizing prospect management content for organizational calls, and monitoring the prospect management support inbox.
Update and maintain prospect management content in the Development Knowledge Bank, including scripting, recording, and editing training videos, as well as auditing and refreshing content.
The Prospect Management Specialist will manage, track, and report on key data related to the team scope and priorities. They will perform independent analysis of key program data and will provide recommendations and targeted training related to the functional area of the team. The Prospect Management Specialist must have advanced knowledge (or be capable of quickly gaining advanced level skill) of the systems and resources utilized by the team (Asana, Power BI, Microsoft 365 applications) and Development Operations staff (BBCRM and Workday) in order to provide programmatic support and coordinate communications related to the resources. They will have substantial contact with stakeholders and may serve as the lead liaison with partners. They will take on additional duties to enhance the work of the team, such duties may include, but are not limited to, a more significant role in training, developing documentation, and/or enhancing the systems and tools used by the team. The Prospect Management Specialist will keep up-to-date on market trends and best practices in order to improve services. They will adapt processes and implement recommended practices in order to improve effectiveness based on their in-depth understanding of related policies and procedures.

What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience or equivalent combination.
Experience generating reports and analyzing and interpreting data.
Experience working across departments.
Experience with current technology in prospect management.
Experience, coursework, or other training in principles and practices of prospect management.
Salary Information:
The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $66,950 - $97,500. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate’s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
