The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing organizational efficiency by leading the analysis, validation, and evaluation of mid-level business systems, services, operations, and user needs. This role is responsible for gathering, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements, defining project scope and objectives, reviewing solution designs, and formulating systems that align with broader business strategies.

The Senior Business Analyst conducts detailed process and technical analyses, delivering actionable recommendations in areas that demand moderate to high levels of analytical and technical expertise. They may also contribute to ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of business systems.

Collaboration and communication are key in this role. The analyst works closely with cross-functional IT and business teams to identify challenges and implement solutions that benefit multiple business units. The role is also responsible for Business Relationship Management with Marketing staff and facilitation of Agile ceremonies. They may lead mid-level projects, mentor junior analysts, and provide guidance on best practices and standards.

This position reports to the Associate Director of Business Analysis within the Information Technology business unit and serves as a Senior IT Business Analyst supporting a diverse set of stakeholders within the Constituent Engagement Systems/Marketing Systems portfolio.

This position requires a strong commitment to customer success and the ability to work effectively with matrix stakeholders including leadership. You have exceptional analytical skills with the ability to model business processes, evaluate solution options, and recommend improvements. You are comfortable communicating technical and non technical requirements to different audiences levels. You understand software development methodologies and lifecycle practices. You use tools such as Jira and Confluence for work tracking and documentation.

This position is open remote within the United States of America.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field and/or combined equivalent of education and experience.

  • 5 years of experience as a business analyst or other professional in Information Technology or a related field.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English through written, visual, and verbal formats.

  • Experience in eliciting, defining, documenting, and managing complex systems requirements.

  • Skilled in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders, including planning and facilitating meetings with staff and vendors. Comfortable leading discussions, asking insightful questions, and driving conversations toward successful outcomes.

  • Naturally curious and inquisitive, with a strong interest in understanding business strategy and improving processes.

Bonus:

  • Familiarity with web content management systems (such as Adobe Experience Manager)

Salary Information:

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $80,000 - $121,000. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate’s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
