1. Generic Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, systems, handbooks, and guidelines.
Implement delegated HR function portfolio according to plan of action.
Prepare and develop monthly HR status reports as required by management.
Update staff records and files on a regular basis.
Generate monthly records and reports.
Support with audit requirements.
Ensure proper filing of documents.
Promote and share ideas for improvement of the HR function.
Ensure that NRC’s related activities are implemented within NRC’s Protection mainstreaming guidelines and report any breaches/concerns to the line manager and/or focal point for proper action.
2.Specific Responsibilities:
Human Resources:

Prepare, proofread, and administer employment documentation, including contracts, renewal letters, work certificates, ID cards, and other HR-related forms or templates. Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including entry and exit checklists and related documentation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records in NRC People and all relevant tracking sheets, verifying data for completeness and accuracy. Assist with recruitment processes, including posting vacancies, coordinating candidate screenings, and supporting interview logistics.
Coordinate with line managers and other departments on HR requests, ensuring timely communication of findings and outcomes. Ensure compliance with NRC Terms of Employment and related policies, including leaves, holidays, allowances, benefits, and other HR procedures. Generate and provide monthly timesheets, staff attendance records, and other reports as required by management and auditors. Maintain continuous filing and archiving HR documents (hard and soft copies) according to filing tree guidelines. Support in the enrollment in NSSF and Insurance packages of all staff members with proper support in related inquiries.
Contribute ideas to improve the workflow, proactively ensuring work is timely, accurate and error-free.
Promote NRC’s organizational culture and expected behaviors through awareness and induction sessions.
Carry out other HR related activities as requested.
Admin:
Responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the office building, ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained workspace. This includes coordinating repairs, utilities, and facility-related services.
Manage all tenancy contracts for office premises and expatriate housing, including preparation, renewal, and termination of lease agreements, ensuring timely processing of associated payments and maintain accurate contract documentation and records.
Carry out other Administrative related activities as requested.
Supervise and oversee the office keepers to ensure cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of office facilities. Handle scheduling, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
Professional competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any other related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in handling Human Resources function.
Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts.
Previous experience working in the humanitarian sector.
Fluency in both English and Arabic, written and spoken is mandatory.
