Salary: £44,340 to £46,713 per annum
Hours: 35 per week
Contract: Fixed term contract (12 months)

As a Senior Reward Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of shaping how we recognise and reward our people. You’ll lead exciting projects, bring expert insight to job evaluation and pay modelling, and work with teams across People Services to make our reward offer clear, inclusive and inspiring. Whether you’re diving into data, developing new guidance or benchmarking against best practice, your work will help us build a fair and transparent approach to reward. You’ll join a team that thrives on kindness, authenticity and fresh thinking - and your impact will be felt across the British Red Cross.
What will a day in the life of a Senior Reward Advisor involve?
- Leading reward projects and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes.
- Supporting the delivery of our Reward Strategy alongside colleagues in the Reward team.
- Conducting external research and benchmarking to inform decision-making.
- Processing and modelling complex reward data to support key initiatives.
- Advising People Partners and colleagues on intricate reward queries.
- Contributing to the development of accessible and engaging reward policies and guidance.
To be a successful Senior Reward Advisor, what will you need?
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to draw insights from varied data sources.
- Proven experience in managing annual reward activities, including pay reviews and benefits platforms.
- Familiarity with job evaluation methodologies, salary surveys and benchmarking practices.
- A pragmatic and commercial mindset, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially for data analysis and reporting.
