Casework Coordinator
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire (Hybrid)
Salary: £26,489 to £28,826  per annum, pro rata
Hours: 35 per week
Contract: Fixed term contract  (maternity cover until 31st December 2026)

As a Casework Coordinator, you’ll deliver vital support to refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants across the UK. You’ll help people navigate complex systems, access their rights, and rebuild their lives. You’ll play a key role in shaping and improving services that truly matter. What will a day in the life of a Casework Coordinator involve?
  • Providing advice and advocacy on welfare, housing, health and asylum support.
  • Coordinating emergency provisions like hardship payments and hygiene packs.
  • Supporting and managing volunteers to deliver high-quality casework services.
  • Building relationships with external partners to ensure holistic support for service users.
To be a successful Casework Coordinator, what will you need?
  • Experience delivering casework to vulnerable clients, ideally within refugee or asylum contexts.
  • Strong communication skills, including working with interpreters and diverse communities.
  • The ability to manage volunteers and work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of asylum seekers’ rights and entitlements, and how to advocate effectively.
