Our team and mission
The Brand Outreach Office (DG-COB) is part of the Outreach Division within the ESA Communication Department. Its role is to develop, implement, and coordinate the ESA corporate brand globally, ensuring all activities comply with corporate messaging and visual identity.
The office focuses on three main portfolios:
- Branding
Oversees the correct use of the ESA logo, visual assets, signage, and branding across ESA establishments and events. - Merchandising
Coordinates merchandising activities, such as ESA Space Shop merchandise, covering both B2C and B2B product lines. - Partnerships
Manages partnerships, licensing, and co-branding with external organizations, including those in video games, films, music, and other branded projects.

Field(s) of activity for the internship
Topic of the internship: Graphic Designer - Branding and Merchandising
Reporting directly to the Head of the Brand Outreach Office at the ESA Communication Department, you will play an active role in the office’s graphic design projects.
The core responsibilities will include supporting the launch of a new range of ESA merchandise through the ESA Shop, both in physical locations and online.
You will create graphics for products, implement these designs, and assist in promoting the new items. Collaboration with various teams will be essential to ensure all products adhere to ESA’s branding standards and are communicated clearly online.

Education
You must be a university student, preferably studying at master’s level. In addition, you must be able to prove that you will be enrolled at your University for the entire duration of the internship.
Additional requirements
The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another ESA Member State language is an asset.
During the interview, your motivation for applying to this role will be explored.
Knowledge and background in graphic design and communication is an asset.
