Position Objective

Under the overall guidance of the Head of Investigations & Integrity Governance of the IIU, the Investigative Support Analyst will be responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the investigations & integrity governance function of the IIU, including assisting in case registration, statistics/data management and analysis, interview transcript reviews, procurement and other administrative tasks.

 

Purpose 

     * Support intake processes through receipt of complaints and case registration, ensuring proper procedure and documentation.

     * Assist in compiling statistic in IIU’s databases and in analyzing data to identify risks and trends. 

     * Monitor timelines and activity milestones, and assist in conducting vendor/entity and background research as needed, to support investigative operations or conflict of interest advisory preparation.

     * Execute administrative tasks for the investigations and integrity governance function to facilitate smooth and efficient implementation of the function’s programmatic work.

 

Engagement

     * Contribute to seamless communication and interaction with other IIU members.

     * Communicate with focal points from the Fund and with investigation counterparts of external partners as needed, to assist in coordination of investigative or administrative processes.

     * Assist in preparing events/trainings and producing information materials and knowledge products.

 

Delivery

     * Provide precise and timely statistics and data, including through tables, charts or other media as needed, to strengthen IIU’s analytics and to support the preparation of activity, annual, policy implementation and other reports to stakeholders.

     * Assist in reviewing transcripts of audio-recorded interviews to ensure accuracy.

     * Maintain investigative office space and resources, assist the Head of Investigations and Integrity Governance in scheduling meetings, and support the IIU front office in the logistics and procurement of goods and services for the investigations and integrity governance function.

     * Perform any other relevant tasks that may be assigned by the Head of Investigations and Integrity Governance, IIU.

 

Requirements (Education, experience, technical competencies required of the job)

     * Bachelor’s degree in administration, management, accounting, statistics, computer/data science or a related field.

     * Minimum four (4) years of relevant experience to perform the functions of the role. Background in a field related to oversight and/or international experience is desirable.

     * Proficient in collecting and analyzing data with a high level of accuracy and insight.

     * Organized and detail-oriented, with strong ability to multi-task and deliver quality work on time under pressure 

     * Ability to manage administrative tasks, logistics and operational support, including by means of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools.

     * Sound interpersonal relations and ability to communicate tactfully with colleagues and GCF stakeholders;

     * Experienced in use of Microsoft office suite products, including Excel and Co-Pilot, and data management software. Knowledge of the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools is highly desirable.

     * Reliable with confidential information and materials.

     * Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Proficiency in another UN official language would be an advantage.
